Ali founded BeKind in 2018 with a clear vision: to improve the care, welfare, and rehabilitation provided to every dog and cat who entered the rescue.

Ali has worked hard to gain respected qualifications and continues to educate herself within the dog training and behaviour field. Using only kind, force‑free, reward‑based methods, she is an accredited Dog Trainer with The Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT) and The Dog Training College (DTC). She holds her Level 4 Behaviour OCN OFQUAL accreditation with IMDT and has completed numerous additional courses with them. Ali also holds her City & Guilds Scentwork Instructor and Handler qualification with the College of Scent Dogs.

Ali has achieved her Level 5 Canine Behaviour Practitioner qualification and is currently working towards her Level 6 ABTC‑recognised Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CAB) qualification with The DoGenius Institute. She also holds her OFQUAL Diploma in Behaviour for Working with Rescue Dogs through DoGenius, as well as Level 3 OFQUAL in Canine Nutrition. In addition, Ali is an Approved Professional with KAD – Kids Around Dogs.

Ali works closely with the foster families and the wider BeKind team, offering guidance and support to guardians of the dogs and cats who come into rescue. From helping animals settle and adjust to home life, to supporting guardians through behavioural challenges, Ali’s focus is always on welfare, kindness, and evidence‑based practice.

Emma joined BeKind as a foster carer and quickly realised she wanted to deepen her knowledge within the training and behaviour industry. Her passion for helping animals and supporting the people who care for them has grown ever since.

Emma works hard to help educate fosters and adopters, ensuring they receive clear, welfare‑focused information, guidance, and training. She is dedicated to helping each animal settle, thrive, and move confidently towards their forever home.

Emma has achieved her Level 3 and Level 4 Behaviour OFQUAL qualifications with The DoGenius Institute. She also holds her Level 5 Professional Dog Trainer RuralSkills Qualification, also through DoGenius. Emma is an accredited trainer and a proud member of IMDT, reflecting her commitment to kind, reward‑based, evidence‑informed practice.

Emma continues to expand her knowledge and skills, and she plays a vital role within BeKind, supporting guardians, fosters, and adopters with compassion, patience, and a genuine love for helping animals feel safe and understood.

Beth fostered and then adopted Ellie in December 2020, and from that moment, she became a cherished part of the BeKind family.

Since then, her passion, kindness, and unwavering commitment to animal welfare have shone through in everything she does. Beth brings a vast wealth of knowledge to the team, paired with a genuine hunger to keep learning and expanding her skills. Her deep interest in pain‑related behaviour, canine nutrition, and overall wellbeing makes her an invaluable addition to our rescue.

Beth’s journey into the dog world has been shaped by years of dedication, curiosity, and compassion. Here’s a little more about her, in her own words:

My degree is in Equine Studies.

I started working with horses at 14 and spent years on racing and eventing yards before going freelance at 18.

I kept horses fit, schooled, competition groomed, and competed for fun myself.

After various injuries, I needed a safer path, so we started Peckamix in 2016.

In 2020, I stepped back from riding part‑time.

We fostered and then adopted Ellie in December 2020 – that turned our lives into the most unexpected and fantastic journey into the dog world.

In 2022, I officially retired from horses, and we went full‑time into Peckamix, later opening Wally’s Pet Supplies.

I’ve deep‑dived into training and behaviour over the last 5 years, and I’m now a qualified Dynamic Dog Practitioner.

I have achieved my iPet Level 3 Diploma in Canine Nutrition, and I am currently enrolled on the APNC mentorship to become an APNC Registered Canine Nutrition Consultant.

I’ve completed the Feed Real Professional Canine Nutrition Certificate and spent countless hours researching all things dog nutrition.

Horses were my first passion, but dogs have truly become the heart of my world.
